What is the Vision of Hope Church?

Hope Church reaches the city as every member engages others with the Gospel where they LIVE, WORK, PLAY and LEARN.  Our people are Equipped, Encouraged and Accountable in our Hope Communities to engage the city with the Gospel and make disciples in New Orleans.

HOPE COMMUNITIES

Hope Church seeks to enable every member to be the gospel where they LIVE, WORK, PLAY and LEARN.  Our Hope Communities are our way to make sure people are Encouraged, Equipped and Accountable to living our the Mission of Christ.  We spend time praying for one another, learning how to live a missionaries in our city and enjoying fellowship.

These groups are made up of somewhere between 10-20 of our members..  These groups multiply as they fill up and as leaders are developed.

LIFE TRANSFORMATION GROUPS

Each of our Hope Communities is subdivided into smaller groups of three for the sake of accountability.

These Life Transformation Groups meet once a week at the participants convienence.  The focus of this time is to be accountable to two things: Personal devotion to Christ through spiritual disciplines and to live out the mission of Christ.  Significant time is spent praying for the lost in our city during these meetings.  Each week every participant comes away with an action step to be completed during the week that either encourages greater discipline or encourages stronger missional living and activity.
